If “Kira” Is Real, Would You Obey Him?
(Yagami Raito, alias “Kira” in Death Note)
I was watching Death Note episode 31 today, and thought, what would really happen if Kira exists in our world. Yep, most likely, like what happened in the Death Note series, crimes would be greatly reduced, I guess not much of questions about that. Though, if it were to happen for real, I doubt there would really be anyone like L to outwit Kira. How about Near and Mellow? Oh, I guess it wouldn’t be that hard to find a few bunch who would be as annoying as these two, God!
I had actually been following Death Note since the first episode of its anime series been aired in Japan (I didn’t read the manga before the anime been aired though). But I stopped right after L died and Near/Mellow were introduced. No, no, it wasn’t because I was a fan of L, not at all. I detest L actually, to be honest. I’ll leave it at that. Going there would make a different topic. But I stopped watching because I really couldn’t stand Near and Mellow!
Though there was L’s childish trait that these two inherited from L (that is, an obsession of “winning the game”), but the “intelligence” trait of L seemed to have not been passed along to these two. To me these two (especially Mellow, plus his girlish hair and stupid love for chocolates–as far as I know, only girls are crazy about chocolates!) were just filling up the gaps. They’re not even supposed to be there in the series.
Forget, about Near and Mellow.
If Kira really exists in our world, which side do you think you would take? Kira, pursuing his self-defined “justice”, or L and his team, opposing Kira’s search of “justice”, and actually bringing the world to its own cruel nature. Which side are you on?

its not “Yagami Raito”, its Yagami Light! ah! yeah the ending was kinda sad T_T wish the anime was longer though… felt sorry when it ended!
If KIRA did exist I probably wouldn’t follow him. I mean I understand what he wants to do, but seriously, would that really make the world a better place? What happens after he dies? He’s not a Shinigami so he can’t “gain” life as he kills. I feel that his attempts to make the world a “better” place are pointless, because in the end nothing would come of it and poverty would return:(
quite frankly i think that 1 day kira infact will be ral and i wouldnt just obey him d plan on helping him becuase kira is a god to my persnel acount. so yes i would beacus well he has a mind of witch i do.
I will support L and his team, bcause kira is fucking crazy to kill his own team mates for his own sake.Instead of kira controling the deathnote, the note is the one controling kira!

There is, in fact, a real Kira, and it’s not this loser copycat in Belgium.
The real Kira is a woman, and she does not use a magical notebook or have any supernatural powers… What she does have is a mind that makes Light Yagami look like a blithering idiot, and a mastery of hypnotc mind control techniques.
She inspired the manga, and the show, as a monument to a time when she was very young, when a detective figured out what she was doing and almost caught her. According to her, the two stories do not directly relate in terms of plot.
The earth shattering fact is, she has already effectively controlling the world, controlling government officials and the media, while an insidious hypnotic virus spreads through the population, converting the entire human population on the planet to her control… Then things will *really* begin to change. And to think, we may not even notice it happening…
