I have always thought Naruto was the best anime there ever was since its first episode. Everything your looking for in an anime was there in Naruto. Naruto was rich with content, characters development, as well as the messages conveyed behind the story. Of course, this excludes the fillers. So to say, I had quite a high hope for Shippuuden, or in English, it’s “Hurricane Chronicles”. Naruto Hurricane Chronicles.

When I watched the first episode of Naruto Shippuuden (after the end of all the freakin’ fillers), I could say the episode was living up to fans’ expectations. And I suddenly remembered, finally, after the loooong seasons of fillers, I remembered once again the exciting feeling of watching Naruto.

But.. I’m afraid that couldn’t last very long. Naruto Shippuuden is awesome, and the story from the manga for Shippuuden is getting more and more interesting. But as for the anime, even we’re on episode 24 now (episode 25 will be released probably tomorrow), it seemed the story is too slow-moving and dragging. And when the story is dragging like that, people will slowly get bored. I’m not saying that I have gotten bored of Naruto because of Shippuuden. Naruto is still the best thing out there, and Kishimoto is still the best mangaka around (at least to me, and you are free to backfire me). But if the studio keeps on exaggerating inappropriate scenes on the anime, Naruto will lose the top excitement it had always given to its viewers slash fans.

Having said that, I’m looking forward to next episode, episode 25.
